More Fruit Trees & Raised Bed Gardens...
During our annual Early Spring Shutdown, Damon is hard at work adding dozens of new friut trees to Sagecrest as well as switching even more of the gardens to raised beds. The greenhouse is quickly becoming full to the brim with thousands of seedlings that will eventually make their way into the garden. The cold frames are now full with spring items.

Sagecrest Gardens & Greenhouse...
You will notice upon arrival to The Basement Bistro, the Sagecrest gardens on the lower part of the property. New for 2009 are the raised beds that we built in April. Soon they will be filled to capacity! Also you will notice next to where you park, a greenhouse. This greenhouse belonged to my late mother, Marjorie. We moved it all in one piece over the winter. Mom's greenhouse is the start for the thousands of seeds for most of what we grow here at Sagecrest. Sagecrest, in addition to being where The Basement Bistro is located, is our home.

Planning & Scheduling 2010...
We are very excited to announce that beginning in 2008, we are officially "retired" from off-premise catering. 2010 will be our 23rd year in business. We have been planning this transition for over 5 years. We are very excited and looking foward to our new projects. Thank You! Elizabeth & Damon Baehrel.

Sagecrest Hits 2500 Milestone in Aug. 2004...
It's hard to believe that Elizabeth & Damon Baehrel have catered 2500 weddings, but in August 2004, and over 18 years, in hundreds of locations, all hand prepared food, gracious service, every loaf of bread baked in our kitchen, 1.5 million lobster potatos. etc. etc. We figure that if all of our Bride/Grooms had the customary 2.3 children, we've in a small way helped create a small city. Thank you!
